1st FIG Young Surveyors European Meeting

The meeting is an international event with the theme "Young Surveyors together toward the challenges of tomorrow" and is a consequence of FIG YSN First Congress held in Rome in 2012. The Conference is designed for young professionals and its main objectives, the establishment of a European network of young technicians and engineers (from the geographic information technologies), improved international cooperation and promoting contacts and knowledge. This meeting will have sessions for "Innovation and Technology of the Future" aimed at promoting the latest equipment and technology sessions "as guest speakers YS" where young professionals with successful careers, will present their innovative work, and discussion sessions on creating European Surveyors Youth group. At this meeting attended by the presidents of the FIG, FIG Foundation and the Council of European Geodetic Surveyors.

This is a unique opportunity for students and young professionals, especially for areas such as surveying, mapping and GIS, to network, socialize with peers from across Europe and be at the forefront of the latest technologies. It invites young people, professionals and students to be present and appeal to their collaboration in the promotion of the event and also to encourage the participation of these young people.
