Workshop on property taxation in Ecuador, held at the Technical University of Loja

The Land Lab participated in the organization of a workshop on property taxation in Ecuador, held at the Technical University of Loja. More than thirty Ecuadorian municipalities joined the workshop. The workshop is an activity of the project ECU3-Act, coordinated by the Land Lab and financed by the Cooperación Galega. ECU3-Act aims to improve the fiscal autonomy of Ecuadorian municipalities through the improvement of
property taxation.
The participants of the workshop reflected on the reasons of the low property taxation performance in Ecuador, and on what are the strategies to improve the performance.
