Preliminary findings from Galician Green Infrastructure Strategy

Last March 16th, LaboraTe has presented, together with the other research groups involved in the Galician Green Infrastructure Strategy Project, preliminary findings on production potential for ecosystem services in Galicia. The event was presented by Beatriz Mato Otero (Regional Minister for Environment and Land Planning) and took place in the Eissenman Room (Galician City of Culture in Santiago de Compostela)

The Land Research Institute (Instituto de Estudos do Territorio, IET) is in charge of coordinating the research team that works on Guidelines for Green Infrastructure in Galicia. The team is formed by several research groups from Santiago de Compostela University (IBADER, IDEGA, LaboraTe) and A Coruña University (CartoLab and Dr. Javier González Harguindey from Architectural Projects, Urbanism and Composition Department from Architecture Faculty)

DELOGA, a company that conducts sociological studies and in charge of the public participation part in the project, closed the event conducting a survey, being also the starting point for the participatory phase that will take place all over Galicia next months.
