The TERRANOVA project aims to promote generational renewal in agriculture across Galicia, Asturias, and the Basque Country through territorial ecosystems that support new entrants into farming and the transfer of agricultural holdings. It addresses demographic challenges and their socio-environmental impacts by strengthening local capabilities, building support networks, and coordinating existing resources. To achieve this, it will create an interactive map and a database of entities and stakeholders supporting agricultural integration, alongside a structured inventory of resources, instruments, tools, and benchmark experiences. Furthermore, it will launch practical tools and digital incubators to facilitate guidance and mentoring. The goal is to support 30 generational succession projects and improve the continuity rates of other farms, scaling its model to a national level with an agroecological and multisectoral approach.
