The Territorial Information System (SIT) is designed to help researchers at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC)—and the wider community—make the most of information linked to the territory and its spatial dimensions. Our goal is simple: to make it easier and accesible for anyone to work with geospatial data.

To achieve this, we promote and support the use of cutting‑edge GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote Sensing technologies. These tools allow users to better understand, visualize, and manage the territory, turning data into valuable insights for research, planning, and decision‑making.
