The F:ACTS!
project (Forms for Adapting to Climate Change through Territorial Strategies!)
organizes, from 30th of January until 2nd
of February, the international workshop "Integrated Planning
for Multifunctional Land Use". Delegations of 6 different
European countries are participating in the workshop, that
is held in Vilnius (Lithuania) and that deals with the concept
of integrated territorial planning.
Two members of the LaboraTe, which coordinates one of the
components of the project, are involved in the workhshop.
The event addresses as important aspects of the previously
mentioned approach the improvement and innovation of governance,
the essential role of stakeholder involvement and the multifunctional
character of land during the implementation of land tenure
and land use actions in coordination with other rural development
measures.
