On 27th and 28th November several technicians from LaboraTe
and researchers from Ecuador, staying at the Land Laboratory
within the framework of Proyecto Ecuador Territorio Inteligente (Consolidación de I+D+T+i en OT y TIG),
met in two working seminars under the theme "Planning and
land administration systems."
The objective of these seminars was to confirm the importance
of integrated and multipurpose cadastral information systems
as cross management tool for territorial planning, as much
as the potential of networking and the transfer of technological
and methodological applied research results to the development,
management and updating of the management system of rural
land in Ecuador.
