Ceremony of the VII Edition awards of the Awards Rafael Crecente

The next Monday, the 25th of November, 18:30h, will be held at the Polytechnic School of Engineering (EPSE) de Lugo the ceremony of the VII Edition of the Awards Rafael Growing.

The act will take place in the assembly Hall of EPSE and it will be open to all those who want to attach. The agenda will include a brief presentation of proposals awarded and will feature in this edition with Don Francisco Javier Sanz Larruga as speaker guest. Professor of Administrative Law at the University of a Coruña and expert in environmental law, will speak of the regulation of the coastline in Galicia. The ceremony will end with a small appetizer.
The winners of this edition of the awards are:

  • 1st prize: Alejandro Álvarez Fernández by the work “the Establishment of a system silvopastoral on mount public Rascalobos (Latch Laxe, A Coruña)”
  • 2nd prize: Lucia Gomez Taboada by the proposed “Assessment of the behavior of the fire potential in rodais Pine”.

 Similarly, concedeuse a consolation Fernando Hut the Port for “when genomic dna Analysis in natural populations ofArnica montana L.”.

The Awards “Rafael Growing” of the Innovative Proposals of Land Management, are organized by the IBADER (Institute of Biodiversity and Rural Development) and the Laboratory of the Territory (GI-1934 TB), University of Santiago de Compostela (the Campus Land, Lugo). Are granted two awards, with the formal recognition through a diploma and a sum of economic 2,000 € and 1,000 €, respectively. The initiative aims to promote the development of innovative ideas related to rural development, the conservation of the environment, the improvement of the agrarian production in the broad sense and the contribution to the management of territorial sustainable.
