Diego Arias Castiñeira is a specialized research technician and part of the team of administrators at LaboraTe.

Since joining the group in September 2026, he has been in charge of the deployment, configuration, and migration of geospatial viewers, as well as the administration of servers, databases, and web environments. His main role consists of providing technological support to the rest of the group in the various projects they participate in. Furthermore, his work integrating Artificial Intelligence models into the different developments of the research projects stands out.

Currently, he combines his work at the laboratory with his studies for a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering.
