The Galician ministry for Education and Universities (Dirección
Xeral de Promoción Científica e Tecnolóxica do SUG) has
recently awarded a grant for the creation of a research
network formed by research groups from the universities
of Santiago and Vigo.
These groups are already playing a very important role in
the scientific community at regional level, and it is expected
that 'Revolta', the newly created network, will help to
reinforce their projection in their respective fields of
research. The main objectives of the network are the consolidation,
possible reorientation, and strengthening of its lines of research,
and the increase of the collaboration among the groups that
form part of it.
The Revolta network members are:
- HISTAGRA (USC), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Lourenzo Fernández Prieto
- COSMERUN (USC), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Xoán Carlos Carreira Pérez
- LaboraTe (USC), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Rafael Crecente Maseda
- GESPIC (USC), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Xoán Carmona Badía
- GIEEA (University of Vigo), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Xavier Simón Fernández
