The Land Laboratory (LaboraTe), along with other research

in the round table "Challenges to tap EU funds in the period
2014-2020." In this round table it was highlighted the importance
of the LEADER procedures, the processing industries associated
with milk, meat and wood, the new opportunities derived
from the new programmation of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union,
the need to include in the agenda the access to land, and
the importance of land management for rural development
and the Rural Development Groups themselves.
During the year from 2014 to 2020 a new programming of the
Common Agricultural Policy will be implemented, and it should
be approached as an opportunity to consolidate the progress
already achieved, as well as and as a stage with enormous
potential that represent an opportunity to get «alive rural
lands».
