Final meeting of the ERASMUS+ SFATE Project partners in Santiago de Compostela.

The ERASMUS+ SFATE Project seeks to disseminate knowledge on smart farming technologies by the creation of a web portal which provides information on the applications and advantages of these technologies, the new employment opportunities associated to them and the training resources which can be used to acquire the needed skills to access these employment opportunities.

The partners of the project have just celebrated on the 13th and 14th of Nobember their final meeting in the Integrated Training Centre of Vocational Training “Politécnico” of Santiago de Compostela. The results of the project were presented in the meeting and the steps to disseminate them were commented. The evaluation process and other administrative issues were also discussed in the meeting.

The Land Laboratory participates on the SFATE Project on behalf of the University of Santiago de Compostela, other partners are the Galician Regional Ministry of Education, Universities and Vocational Training, the Federation of Family Agriculture Schools of Galicia, the Association of Agriculture Chambers of the Atlantic Arc (France), the Philipps University of Marburg (Germany) and the Biotechnical Centre of Naklo (Slovenia).
