Rocío Losada Iglesias travelled to Vilnius (Lithuania) to attend the XX European Rural Development Network (ERDN) Conference, entitled "Green Transformation in European Rural Areas" that took place from 11 to 13 September.
The goal of the conference was to present current research and discuss the future development of green transformation in rural areas of Europe, as well as to formulate recommendations for creating effective policies in rural development and agriculture. During the event, scientists and researchers from across Europe presented their work and exchanged experiences in this field.
Rocío had the opportunity to present a study analysing the roles of stakeholders and governance interactions in strategic planning projects in Galicia and the Netherlands, as part of her doctoral thesis. This work helped identify key elements for developing more successful and effective strategies, particularly emphasizing the importance of stakeholder engagement.
