The Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, Beatriz
Mato, presented some days ago the draft of this technical
document, available for two months on the website of the
department.
The catalogue identifies a total of 208 Areas of Special
Landscape Interest (ASLP). Around 80 percent of ASLP have
been identified by citizens and 30 percent identified exclusively
by them . The total area of all ASLP covers more than 250,000
hectares, which amounts to 8.5 percent of the Galicia's
territory.
